Start by cutting off a piece of cord to your desired length. String the cord through your copper bits in whatever configuration you like. Add a generous amount of glue in the clasps and insert the ends of the cord in to secure them in place. You’re going to want to press the two together for several minutes to make sure they adhere, then leave each side to dry for several hours, if not overnight (always a good rule of thumb when dealing with glue).
