At first sight it’s a very intricate project, but you’ll be surprised cause it’s not so difficult to make as it seems. You will need cotton rope (about 38″), metallic rope (about 60″), colored electric tape and large hook closure. Start out by looping your cord through your hook closure. Put about 60% through one side and 40% though the other. Seal off the opposite side with electrical tape, forming a loop. From here, work around the necklace in a circle, taping 1.5 inches of tape every 3 inches or so. Finish by taping close to your clasp and then tape your metallic rope to the underside.
