A rosewater toner is not only good because of its wonderful aroma, but also because of its many beneficial cleansing, anti-aging and moisturizing properties. Let’s try to make it on our own! You’ll need a dozen fresh roses, a large stock pot with a lid, distilled water, a smale heat safe bowl, a deeper heat safe bowl and ice cubes. First pluck the petals off the roses and wash them to remove any dirt. Then place the medium bowl upside down in the stock pot, the small bowl on top of the upside down bowl and the petals all around the bowl. After that pour some water on top so it covers the petals. Invert the lid and put it on top. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Once petals lost all their color you’re done. Let it cool and transfer to a small bottle. Rosewater is ready to use!
