Tassels are very simple and chic, so you can add them to your look and be stylish. For this project with tassels you will need scrap cardboard (2 x 3 inches), 8 to 10mm jump ring, large metal bead, adjustable ring blank with loop, head pin, embroidery thread (1 skein), 3-in-1 jewelry pliers, scissors and chain (about 30 inches). An adjustable ring blank with a loop is typically used for creating rings with charms. Hold the embroidery thread against the cardboard, placing the end at the bottom. Begin tightly wrapping the thread around the cardboard. Wrap it around the cardboard 30 to 45 times, according to how thick you want the tassel. Gently open the ring blank. Slip the opened ring blank underneath the thread bunch. The rest of the tutorial is here.
