You will need patience and perseverance realizing this craft. But you’ll get a beautiful Halloween mask, it’s worth it! You will need a sewing machine, fabric square (10″ x 10″) or scrap of fabric 10″ x 5″, 10″ x 5″ scrap of black polyester fleece, 1 yard wired-edge ribbon, 1 yard soft black velvet cording, 1 spider, thread, scissors, straight pins and tape measure. Download and print the pattern. Cut out along the solid line. Place the pattern on the purple wallpaper fabric and cut one mask. Place the pattern on the polyester fleece and cut one mask too. Then cut the yard of velvet cording in half to yield two 18″ lengths. Cut two 16″ lengths of wired-edge ribbon. Trim off one wired edge, approximately ¼” from the wire.
