Fell in love with Saint Laurent’s F/W 13 boots but $8000 per pair is simply unaffordable? I get it and glad to share a salvation for all of the It girls adoring this grunge-inspired ‘90s trend! You need super glue, pliers, scissors, lace, thin chain, chunky chain, embroidery floss, studs, nautical buttons, charms, white and grey pearls, faux leather, adhesive Velcro and boots, of course. First glue ten studs to the toe of each boot. Cut out two 5 x 3.5” rectangles of faux leather, make the knot clusters using thin chains and glue the clusters, small bits of lace, buttons, charms, etc. to the rectangle. Then attach two strips of adhesive Velcro to the back of the back of the rectangle, peel off the backing and attach your rectangle to the boot. Pair with simple black dress and plaid flannel with waist’s emphasis and embrace the ‘90s feel!
