During my recent shopping, I’ve noticed lots of clothing items with pinstripes print. It got me thinking that this trend is about to get into our summer wardrobes again, and it’s exciting! However, my shopping didn’t end well, so I thought I’d better look for some DIYs to try myself. I found this amazing striped strapless top that is a perfect beach must-have. It looks completely adorable and it’ll take like 30 minutes to make it yourself, even if you aren’t really a sewing master.
Here’s all you need to get started with this project: striped fabric (or tea towels ‘Elly’ from IKEA like in this tutorial), some stretchy enough elastic, thread and sewing machine. Basically, all you need to do is to cut your fabric, according to your torso size, make a casing for the elastic and after sewing it down thread the casing with the elastic, sew together.
