If you want to jazz up or embellish your simple white tee a little, there’s a cool way to do that – add leather details. It’s absolutely doable and easy! Supplies are white tee, leather scraps, nylon coated thread, leather sewing machine needle, scissors, sewing machine, paper and pencil, ruler, pins and seam ripper. First of all measure areas of the sleeve for leather, adding ¼” seam allowance to all sides. Using these measurements cut a pattern from paper and after that cut out 2 pieces of leather. Next remove seam at top of sleeve with a seam ripper. Cut the area out but ¼” smaller than the paper pattern you made from leather. Read the final steps of the tutorial at sayyes.com.
