It’s so frustrating when you’re visiting your favorite shop during a sale, hoping that you’ll find what you were looking for and buy it with a huge discount, but everything in your size is sold out. We all have been in such situations! So, if you just couldn’t resist and bought a bigger sized dress and need a solution, here we go. First determine how much you need to take in at the back and pin (ask your friend to help). Then lay your dress flat, lining up the waistband, hem and neckline, and pin down the entire dress. With a straight stitch sew it from neckline to hemline, as it’s shown on the photo below, and then cut off all extra fabric and zigzag the raw edge. Wear with pleasure!
