To make a rope braid, start by spraying your hair with volume and texture spray, focusing on the roots and mid-lengths. Use a boar-bristle brush to gather your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic at the crown of your head. Take a one-inch section of the ponytail and wrap it around the elastic, securing it with a pin. Divide the ponytail into two sections and spray them with hairspray. Twist each section of hair and then twist the two sections tightly together. Secure the end with a clear elastic.
