If you understand this technique, you will be able to create any print you want on your denim! Let’s start with a pair of simple white jeans. You’ll need white Levi’s jeans, stencils, Tulip fabric paint, sponge brush, scissors and 2 paper plates. Cut your stencils out if they are on a sheet with other designs. Then pour a small amount of each fabric paint into each paper plate. Next, add a small amount of water (½ tablespoon of water for every 2 tablespoons of paint). This will create a better consistency to paint with. Now place the stencil onto your jeans and firmly hold in place. Next dab a paint onto your stencil with the sponge brush. You should start with the front side of the jeans. The rest of the tutorial is here.
